2026 Gasshuku Weekend

August 22-23, 2026

In lieu of a regular seminar with guest sensei, we will hold a two-day training weekend on August 22-23, 2026. This is open to members of Ka Muso Kai Calgary, Ka Muso Kai Saskatoon, Edmonton Iaido Club, Edmonton Jodo Club, and Niten & Kagéryu seminar attendees of years past - as well as interested beginners. Training will be held in at Woodcliff United Church (5010 Spruce Drive SW). 

Instructors: Alex Cook sensei (5-dan Jodo, 4-dan Iaido)
Co-Instructors: Rhona-Mae Arca (3-dan Jodo, 3-dan Iaido) & André de Waal (1-dan Jodo, 1-kyu Iaido).

Pre-registration is highly encouraged.

FEES & DONATIONS

There are no training fees for the training weekend. However snacks to share and financial donations are appreciated. Note that everyone is responsible for their own meals.
